The frontman of one of the biggest bands in the world today just celebrated his 44th birthday. The band and its member not only serving wonderful music but delivering messages of peace, equality, and love. Here are a few reasons I love Chris Martin and Coldplay.
Christopher Martin, or known as Chris Martin of Coldplay, just celebrated his 44th birthday on the 2nd of March. For the last few years he and his band Coldplay has been spreading the message about love, and peace not only throughout their songs but also their action. As the band itself was a Global Citizen Ambassador.
Starting the band in 1996 while attending University in London, they start their first gig in 1999, in a small cafe in London, and released their first EP called The Blue Room. Ever since their breakthrough in the early 2000s through the album Parachutes, the rest is history.
Loved by many fans all across generations. Chris Martin and his band Coldplay have spread the message of love through their music and their active participation in Global Citizen. There are many reasons to love them and here are 5 reasons I love Chris Martin and Coldplay.
Each album is different
From Parachutes to Everyday Life, every album of Coldplay has its own characteristics. For example, from Viva La Vida to Mylo Xyloto. There is a huge transition from music and theme. If in Viva La Vida is more rock/grand type music like Viva La Vida, to vibrant and colorful Mylo Xyloto. Even the latest album Everyday Life is unique where the music is a mix of happiness, hopefulness, and the feel of Arabic music.
Fix You is the most emotional song after Yellow
Coldplay is very well-known for its meaningful and emotional lyrics. One of the most emotional songs that I ever heard in years is Fix You. Every time I listen to the song I can feel pain, remorse, and deep sadness. Allegedly, Fix You were created to comfort Chris's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow’s father's loss. But this song basically to comfort and help you through hardships and learn to let go.
Chris Martin is an ambidextrous
It is considered a genius when you can functionally use both hands, and Chris Martin is one of them. He could use his left hand for writing and his right hand for drawing, and only a few public figures that I know who could use both hands.

Personally, Mylo Xyloto is the most unique works by Coldplay. Why? Because some song in the album have to be listened in order. Songs like Hurts like Heaven, Every Teardrop is a Waterfall is a few songs that has a prelude when reached the end is directly connected to the next song, some kind of long opening.
A Man with high Intellectual
It’s no secret that Chris Martin could be considered a genius, virtuoso, you named it! But one thing certain, that Chris Martin has so many talents from music to arts. Not only that, he’s also a very intelligent man, and very vocal about politics.
Loyality
These days, many of band group broke up or separate ways after gaining fame. But not Coldplay, this band has been through high times and low times and even named as one of best rock band over the decades, this band shows no sign of major conflict that could ended up in separation. From 1998 until today, Coldplay still consists of four friends from London who’s right now have millions of loyal fans around the globe.

Even though I have never been watching Coldplay live concert, but it always be on my bucket list. Every time I watched it from their DVD Concert, it always gave me a goose bumps. The ambiance of their concerts could make you feel like you are actually going to the event itself. Take my word from it, and believe me, just watch any of their DVD Concert and see it for yourself.
Well, there is more reason that I could think of when i hear Coldplay and Chris Martin. However, this band is the greatest band who will last for generation and i’m proud to be one of their fan
